FROM NURSE AMANDA
If your child has prescription or over the counter medication at school, it will be important to stop in and pick it up before or at the completion of the school year. Leftover medication cannot be sent home with students for the safety of them and others. If the medications are not picked up, they are automatically discarded. If you have questions regarding our medication policy, feel free to contact the school nurse.
FEES & UNPAID BALANCES
Please strive to get your students’ bus fees, book fees, and library fees paid up. Some lunch accounts are also past due. Balances of all student accounts will carry over to the following school year. Balances of 4th grade students will carry over to their 5th grade accounts at middle school. All unpaid balances as of June 15th 2024, will be accessed a 25% late fee.
2024-2025 REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will be completed online. Parents, please make sure that your contact information is up to date in JMC. Communication regarding registration for next school year will be shared via text and/or email as soon as online registration opens.

Penny Wars is coming!!! Penny Wars will be May 20th-24th. There will be daily prizes for the classroom with the highest total and for the top class of the week.
Our fourth graders have picked the theme Marble. The yearbook was submitted May 5th to guarantee delivery by the end of the school year. Here is the link to purchase the yearbook: https://web.treering.com/create-account/1015351206774106?PassCode=1015351206774106
Our final meeting of the year will be Tuesday, May 14th at 6pm in the CES cafeteria. We would love to see you there! The PTA will need a new board starting the 2025-2026 school year. There is one member who will have students at the elementary school. The PTA will not be able to continue with only one member. The PTA funds field trips, hosts the Monster Mash, Ties and Tiaras, the Holiday Shop, the yearbook, and funding items that enhance the students learning experience. If you have thought about joining, next year would be a great opportunity! Feel free to contact Erin Ohsann or Jessica Volz. We can be contacted through our Camanche Elementary PTA Facebook Messenger and stormpta@yahoo..com. GO STORM!
FROM MRS. MUNSON
This week discuss with your student(s): “I do not like it, but I will accept it”. Things don’t always go the way we want them to. Learning to be flexible thinkers and accepting things that we don’t necessarily like or agree with is a valuable life skill that uses a growth mindset. We want to teach kids how to respond gracefully, be flexible thinkers, and use the coping skills needed so they can be successful at home, in school, and in their future careers.
