Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards
“Trunk or Treat” – will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the High School parking lots
Indoor Trick or Treating – will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31 in the HS Hallways/Commons, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Red Ribbon Week – Camanche High School will celebrate Red Ribbon Week during October 28 – Nov 1, 2024. Please show your support by wearing appropriate clothing on these special days:
· Monday, Oct. 28: Pajamas
· Tuesday, Oct. 29: Color of your favorite emotion
Wednesday, Oct. 30: Western or Camanche gear
Thursday, Oct. 31: Favorite sports team
Friday, Nov. 1: Favorite movie character
Guidelines to follow on theme days: age appropriate outfits, no gory outfits (i.e., zombies, blood, etc.), no toy weapons, and no face masks or face painting.
Wrestling Cheer Meeting – will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7:45 am in the High School Library. Please contact Mrs. Stutting at jstutting@camanchecsd.org if you have any questions.
Jostens Orders – Jostens will be here on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Commons to take Graduation & Class Ring orders.

SHARING TREE NEWS
The Camanche Sharing Tree is designed to provide low-income families and/or those undergoing
financial hardships during the holiday season with Christmas gifts and food baskets. To be eligible you must be within the Camanche School District or attending Camanche Community Schools. The River Bend Food bank is requesting that each family complete a Household Income Guideline form to be eligible for the food baskets. Several of the food items included in the food baskets are purchased from the Foodbank.
If you need help this Christmas, please fill out and mail this form to Camanche Sharing Tree, P. O. Box 171, Camanche, IA 52730, no later than Tuesday, November 12th. Blank forms will be available at the drive-thru of Clinton National Bank - Camanche Branch, Citizens First Bank - Camanche Branch and at 1st Gateway Credit Union. This form is also on the school website (www.camanche.k12.ia.us). NO FORMS WILL BE MAILED OUT.
Members of the community who are blessed with the Christmas Spirit will be given the general information about the child, which includes age, male or female, size and special gift ideas. No names are released or are available to the public.
Food baskets and gifts may be picked up on Tuesday, December 17th, from 9:00 a.m. until NOON and from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. Food baskets should be picked up first at the Camanche Community Center located at 323 9th Avenue, Camanche and the gift items can be picked up at the Masonic Lodge in Camanche located on the corner of 9th Avenue and 3rd Street. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
