            Kudos to the third and fourth grade students at CES for working hard on their ISASP tests this week!

 

PTA NEWS

            This week’s discussion idea is “Oh well, maybe next time.” This theme builds off last week’s theme of appropriately accepting responses or situations that we do not like. “Oh well, maybe next time” is a helpful phrase to remind ourselves to stay positive when things don’t go as planned. We often use this when students express their disappointment for not getting called on to answer a question. It can also be used when in the store and your child begins to whine about not getting the treat or toy they wanted. Remind them to use their positive self-talk and say, “oh well, maybe next time”.
