PTA NEWS
Thank you to everyone who supported Saint Giuseppe’s field trip night! Our amazing community caught them off guard with orders. They have never had a turn out at any of their other locations the way Camanche did! We have a truly awesome community!
Monster Mash is under construction and new information will be released as soon as possible. We are excited to have our first event of the year!
Our first fundraiser will be October 14th – 28th. We will be selling FunPasta. What is FunPasta? FunPasta is pasta or soup mixes in fun shapes and themes. These funds will be used for upcoming requests for our students.
Our next field trip night is Friday, October 21st at EZ Deli. EZ Deli will give a percentage of all Maid Rite specials sold that day from 11am – 7pm. You get two sandwiches and chips or pasta for $7.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 11th at 6pm in the CES cafeteria. We would love to see you there and bring your ideas or questions! We can be contacted through our Camanche Elementary PTA Facebook Messenger and stormpta@yahoo.com. GO STORM!
FROM MRS. MUNSON
Our students have been doing awesome at using their Big Deals, Little Deals strategies to help with problem solving. They are still learning these important skills and sometimes need extra help and support in this area. When that happens we have been using restorative justice circles to help them collaboratively solve problems, take responsibility, and encourage our caring community here at CES. It is in this safe and supportive space that the students have done amazingly at having very constructive conversations. For more information on restorative justice and how you can incorporate it at home visit: https://www.parenttoday.org/bringing-the-lessons-of-restorative-justice-home/
Sincerely, Mrs. Munson
FALL FEST
Just a reminder that we are limited on what we can offer students for treats during classroom celebrations. Please refer to our Student Handbook that can be found on the district website under Elementary and Information. If you would like to have treats for your child’s classroom they can be ordered through the school. We also encourage nonfood items such as pencils, stickers, erasers, or other options available at dollar stores. Please call CES at 563-259-3016 if you have any questions.
