FROM MRS. MUNSON
Our CES kindness tree is full of leaves with students and staff that have been caught doing random acts of kindness throughout our building. Don’t forget to check it out when you are in the building for conferences next week! This week carry on with the theme of kindness by discussing with your student “treat people right and do the right thing”. Each night before bed talk about how you each showed kindness to someone that day. Then brainstorm how they can treat people right and do the right thing the following day. Here are some additional resources to dive deeper:

Here are a few books to read with your student on kindness:
· Those Shoes, by Maribeth Boelts
· Kindness Counts: A Story About Teaching Random Acts of Kindness, by Bryan Smith
· Try a Little Kindness, by Henry Cole
· Be Kind, by Pat Zietlow Miller
