Camanche Community Schools recently received the designation of being a Heart Safe School District through University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital and Project ADAM: Iowa Heartland.
Josh Davis (Associate Principal) and Amanda Hoerschelmann (School Nurse) recently led a team of educators at Camanche Schools through a series of drills and CPR certifications. They will also continue routine checks of their on-site AEDs to make sure everything is in compliance. To date, Camanche joins Iowa City as the 1st two districts to achieve this distinction in the state of Iowa.
